Ignorance is so bliss! Ive just come from my Perspectives on Gender class, which was all about Female Gender Circumcision/Mutilation(FGC/M) and Male Circumcision. It is easy to agree how abhorrent FGC/M truly is, but after watching a video of a circumcision being performed on a days-old male infant, I must state that male circumcision is truly barbaric. I will never forget the screams of agony coming from that helpless child. Male circumcision predates Christianity, Judaism and Islam. It was originally used to mark men as slaves. The United States has long condemned slavery and it now time to put a stop to both female and male circumcisions.
