Ignorance of the Word is death When we are very young in the Lord we do not understand , But as we Grow we learn to be patient with the young ones for our Elders were patient with us, My Mother drug me to Church with he and the First time I saw some one Filled with The Holy Ghost it seemed Strange and a little Scary for I was very young . My Mother was just laying on the Floor with a bunch of other women around her all praying in Tongues including my Mother. Came from a Baptist back ground and never heard them say a word about being filled with the Holy Ghost, so I yelled out what are you doing to my Mom! They helped me back to my seat and within a minute my Mother was there with me telling me they werent hurting her, She told me she had come to church tonight to be filled and she made me come with her because she didnt want to go alone. I think it may have been a Little scary for her too? Not knowing anything only what I had been told, It wasnt too long after that my mother would not let my sister ride the bus to school, she would take her for she had seen in a vision that the bus my Sister road to School, In was going to go over the hill and crash. She prayed every day no one would be hurt when the bus was going to wreck, Everyone said she was crazy and made fun of her, Is that not what people do when they have no understanding of others decisions? She was my Mom and I didnt see why they would ridicule her, but out of ignorance they sure did, likewise I wasnt very old when this all transpired maybe around 8, made no scene to me either. Maybe 2 weeks went by and she had been praying that no one would be on the bus when it went over the hill, Well God heard her prayer. That day I will always remember getting out of school heading for my bus to go home, seemed I heard from everywhere kids running up to me telling me what happened, did you hear a Bus from the high school went over the hill today. When I got home first thing I was run in the door to tell Mom,but she already knew. That was a witness to me, but to the rest it didnt seem to really change anything, But it did make a difference in my life and when it was time for me to grow in the Lord , I took the Bible for what it said and not what others thought to say. Every group of Christians think they have the answer for all , and if there is any deviation from what they think, you either scare them or they because of their own ignorance will jump down your throat thinking their way is just how it is, even though many times it is not scripturally sound, I try to keep my Peace when some one jump me because I dont want to hurt the Little ones. And you gain nothing for they will not listen to you they are set on what they have been told rather than reading the Bible which is why the Lord tells us this, Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. 2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Without doing what Gods Word say you may die in your own ignorance. Act on the Word of God not on what another think it should be.
