Ignoring People Right in Front of You - Whether at lunch, teaching kids, directing the meeting or giving the keynote, you have a natural tendency to look straight ahead or to the right (assuming you are right handed) 90%+ of the time. This creates detachment and disinterest from the 1/3 on your left. Make a daily effort to look at your entire audience, connecting intentionally with those on the left. Fascinating: They tend to sit in similar positions wherever they go. They are used to being ignored & you will be the one person who values & attends to them...
