Ihiteowerri News Update: By Fortune obikwere Late Eze C.F.N. Ezerioha to Be Finally Buried.... History was made in Ihiteowerri ancient kingdom on Sunday, 24th day of August, 2014 at the Community Government Headquarters situated at Ezerioha palace square when a final agreement was made between the royal family members, the entire community and the government of Owelle Rochas Okorocha on when and where to bury the late Monarch. Imo community News correspondent in Orlu learnt that it was a jubilation galore when prince Loveday Ezerioha, the first son of the late king in the presence of his siblings namely: prince Chamberlain and Chocho Ezerioha, the representatives of the honourable commissioner for Chieftaincy affairs led by pastor Onyema Ubaka and Who Is Who in Ihiteowerri announced November 28, 2014 as the uncontroversial date to lay to rest the indefatigable monarch, who died nearly two years ago. The burial would be at “Ime Ohuo” (the late Eze’s Palace surrounding), which has been marked out and excepted by Prince Loveday. This will bring to rest the long period of controversy in this issue and appear to bring in peace oncemore into the royal family that the devil had tried to sow a seed of discord because of Ezeship succession bid. Speaking to those present, the commissioner’s representative, pastor Ubaka posits that the issues of signing agreement would be put on hold for now and let the Eze be buried first and that neither the court nor government could appoint the Eze for any community pointing out that at the end of the compulsory mourning period, Ihiteowerri people would choose who becomes their Eze. Full report on this is in Imo Community Newspaper.
