Ileana: Of Course, No One Has Approached Me For ‘Fan’ Yet: The news that has been doing the rounds for pretty many months now is that Ileana DCruz has been roped in to play a big part in Shah Rukh Khan’s next film Fan. But in her recent chat with Koimoi, the actress denied being approached for the film. Ileana said, “No. I don’t even know where this is coming from. I haven’t been approached for Fan. No one has approached me. Not directly atleast. If they are approaching someone else who they think works with me, they are mistaken.” The buzz has been so strong about this news all year that one cannot help but ask if she will accept if approached. Ileana maintained, “If approached at all, I will decide on the film’s story and my role. I want to work with all big superstars but I don’t want to do a film in which my character is insignificant. I was approached for a film much before this with Saif. But I did not like the story. This time I am liking everything, from my role to the trailer to the look of it. I am happy I have made this decision. Many had told me then, why did you refuse a film with Saif. I was clear. It did not feel right.” It is interesting to find an actress not lured by superstars. After working with Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and now Saif Ali Khan, Ileana still values experience of working in films more than the films themselves. Interestingly, when asked if South films have taken a backseat, the lady maintained, she wants good scripts. For now, it is only Happy Ending she is awaiting and looking forward to. #Koimoi
