Ill admit I have NOT been in the Word like I should because of a trial. Sometimes trials can bring us closer to God in prayer but we stray from the Word. We have to watch out for that. Check out this scripture I was reading today, it really REVEALS the character of God because He is so kind. He never got upset or even IS with me but always led me so gently back to Him. If I ever Father a child my role model for parenting is Him. We all should strive for that female OR male parents: heres the Word: Tit 3:4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, Tit 3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Tit 3:6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, Tit 3:7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Look at how much God reveals Himself in His character in those verses. HE IS THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. Kindness, LOVE, GRACE, MERCY, GOODNESS, HOPE. ETERNAL LIFE. All of these things we receive not by our works, but by His Sons death and the work of the Holy Spirit. We can NEVER think or self will ourselves into the fruit of the Spirit, all we do is grow in Christ and they naturally come, though so often we fail at them found in Galatians 5:22-23; it still says HE washes us (cleanses, changes, forgives and gives us the power to hope again and become better and wiser Christians, helping us to see how to AVOID those things by which we fell short in. His kindness overlooks our faults. Truly I have learned in my storm that God is not an angry God waiting to beat me with a stick when I mess up. Rather I realize the truth of Romans 2:4 THE GOODNESS (not preaching repent or die of sin and end up in hell, you sinner) OF GOD leads us (brings us) to repentance (a change of our lives by the INWARD work of the Spirit). Anytime we preach the anger of God towards sinners we have LOST the New Testament sacrifice of His Son which promotes the fullness of the Holy Spirit in our lives which produces the fruit OF THE SPIRIT in our lives. Grace filled Father, thats what He is and who He is. I am grateful for my trouble, for in my trouble I found our about my TRUE Father. God. Remember, Jesus
