Ill always be grateful that I got to see The Boss live while all the members of the E Street Band were still with us. Theres nothing like it..really. Big, bad Clarence blowin his sax, Max poundin the life out of his drums, Miami Steve slitherin about, Nils churnin out mind-blowing guitar solos, Professor Roys beautiful piano work, Bruce and wife Patti tradin suggestive glances with each other..it was truly a unique experience. And the songs! Cant beat the songs! They kicked off with this one..Springsteens tribute to those who endured the terror that was 9/11. Our show was exactly like this video..band entrances and all. It was downright spiritual. The man held his audience spellbound for 2 solid hours..then he played an additional hour cuz the folks in Charlotte NC had lost their power due to a winter storm.
