Ill be honest, Im hesitant to join groups like this because a lot of them Ive seen in the past are so negative. Im 29 years old and have HLHS. Im some what of a poster child for Dr. Norwood and HLHS patients. After my 2nd operation in 1986, I returned home after about a month of recovering in the CICU. I came home tube free and have not had any surgeries that have to do with my heart since then; not even a catheter! Im the oldest of 4 children, have been married for 2 months and am in my 7th year of teaching. I LOVE encouraging other families who are going through the same thing so please do not hesitate to message me and ask any questions! Take care :)
