Ill be honest, for the longest time I associated Joan Rivers, who passed away today at the age of 81, with being a materialistic sucking leach (especially in the 90s), but years later I realized it was all part of the joke. As I watched her more on shows like Louie, the Tonight Show, the Late Show, and Hell even the Apprentice, I realized this was not only a clever comedian, but a smart woman. Im glad I realized it and could see some her great material. If you were like me and associated her only with Red Carpet gossiping, look at some of her other work to realize not only did she trick us, but she was laughing all the way.
