Ill be the first to admit, one must wade through and endure copius amounts of crap to participate in social media, but for me, beyond having a forum for poetry and the promotion thereof, the most positive aspect of facebook has been the strong, kick-ass womenfolk Ive met and cavorted with. Artists, poets, doctors, lawyers, morticians, musicians, journalists, publishers, teachers, small business owners, caregivers of every sort, belly dancers, fire twirlers, mothers, herbalists, witches, athletes, cowgirls, nuns, debutantes, vegans, farmers, actresses, gymnasts, saints, cab drivers, bookies, repo women, beauty queens, grand dame drunks, and drag kings.
