Ill leave you all with a little vent I started with my husband earlier today. Wink Martindale, famed game show host, had posted a status about Dave Benton, a local TV News anchor who is battling a brain tumor. Battling the tumor is not what made Dave so special; but the way hes included the viewers in, from day one, on his disease. Earlier this week he confided with us; his beloved audience, that the doctors cannot treat his tumor; and that he only has 4-6 months to live; but that hes at PEACE with not only his diagnosis; but his death. Those who watch the news adore Dave; because hes special. His story has also gained worldwide attention. I shared on Winks status my feelings about Dave Benton. Now heres the part thats really starting to bug me. I dont like everyone being able to see what I post on a status unrelated to you. Your news feed will reflect, Dawn Merrill commented on this, or Dawn Merrill liked this and I hate that. To me, its almost an invasion of my privacy. If you came to me tomorrow and said, I heard you said the F word yesterday, I would say and? AND how did you find out? Now, if I commented on a mutual friends status, thats one thing; but I really hate that everyone can see everything Ive commented on. Am I the only one who feels this way? Is it your business?
