Ill never forget the conversation with my Father, Jack Griffin. - TopicsExpress

Ill never forget the conversation with my Father, Jack Griffin. It was early summer 1971. I had left the Catholic Church and was attending Grace Methodist next door to our house. Mom & Dad and all my siblings still at home - Patrick, Tad, Brian, Maria, Angela, and Meghan - were driving to NYC to visit Dads sister, our Aunt Mary. I however had opted to go with my new church youth group to a Campus Crusade for Christ event in Dallas, TX where Billy Graham would be speaking. The rest of the family were all loaded in the blue VW Van, and Dad came into my room and sat down next to me on my bunk bed. He said, Louie, go to Dallas - have a great time - get laid if you want to -- but for Christs sake, dont get saved.
