Ill never forget this as long as I live. During my hero, Freddie - TopicsExpress

Ill never forget this as long as I live. During my hero, Freddie Mercurys tribute concert at Wembly, David Bowie gave him the greatest sendoff that rock n roll had to offer. This was near the end of the show, when Bowie said the Lords Prayer to the thousands in the sold-out audience, as well as the millions at home. This was one of the most remarkable, heartwrenching and touching moments inrocks history....where a megastar in the industry stripped himself his ego, threw away the trappings of his percieved image, and laid himself down on his knees, as a humble son of god...giving homage to the greatest power. Its kind of funny that when we look at some people, especially people in the public eye, we have a tendency to judge right away. I just think it is miraculous to see a powerful and rich man like this give his respects to Christ.
