Ill probably get a lot of flack for saying this, but its on my mind. Much of Cultural appropriation is bullshit to me personally. (Keywords:) Much of.... Meaning not all.... ;) I feel like a high percentage of people calling out appropriation target mainly white people, who dont partake in things Stereotypically white, Whatever that means?Which creates an awkward tension between people of color and white people that doesnt need to exist. Im tired of progressive movements separating people of color, from white people, with the intent of equality, while simultaneously segregating. (Seems counter productive) Cant we just get along, and stop separating ourselves, with tired separatist politics? I talk to some people, and it almost seems like their trying to convince me white people are evil? As if the perils of the human condition, are exclusive to white people... Whats ironic many of these so called progressives are white, and constantly attack their own people, as if Im just going to think their politics are superior, and give them more respect, for attacking their people??? This does nothing for me, but make me uncomfortable, and compromises my sanity, when I have to constantly be shown a difference between a white person and myself, when in reality there isnt much a difference; hence my compromised sanity frustration. If youre white, talking shit about your own people, doesnt make you progressive, it makes you annoying. Can we stop with the hatred of people and just enjoy one another?? White people may be your enemy, but not mine more than any other person whos choices exploit life in general, which we all posses the ability to do. Everyone is my equal, my friend... As a person of color, I think people really need to stop attacking White people and start attacking the established fascist cultures that prevent us from coming together, which isnt going to get better by people hating each other, White, or black... #White #people #are #not #the #enemy!!!!
