Ill probably post a little something in the morning and then be out of pocket, for a bit, while getting patched up. I love being able to be in touch, but its a bit of a chore, under the circumstances. Ive shared some, publicly, in the past few days because (1) I really am SO appreciative of the connection with you; and (2) in the interest of transparency, I confess to having given in to fear (not worth going into any detail over) about what being public about this leg of my journey might negatively elicit; and (3) when people close to me mentioned that my absence was, perhaps, causing more confusion or concern than Id ever want caused, I thought Id take the opportunity to assure you that Im pushing through. Im at peace. You should be, too. Im committed to complete restoration because I believe, in the deepest part of myself, Im not through being whoever it is Im meant to be in this place, at this time. A lot of the specifics will be reserved for the people to whom Im closest, but Ill definitely provide you with some general progress reports. My friend, Annette, called this morning to remind me of the importance of giving those who care an opportunity to rally and infuse our spaces with love. So, Ill remain mindful of that while asking that some privacy be respected. Ill be back in fine form soon, getting out a new album, new films, and new lots of other whatevers. Meet me here.
