Ill remove this post after some amp gurus give me some insight. I have a dual rec 100 watt solo 2 channel head. I want to run effects thru the loop and wah vol and whammy before the head. I like the gain and use it for my main tone. How do i keep the gain pumped while running fx anywhere? Its a buzz nightmare. I use a hum eliminator pre and i have a noise supressor i can put anywhere im the chain but have been using it pre as well to try and get rid of the excess noise. I am getting the vibe online that ill need to abandon using my gain at 3/4 and use it at half mast with a distortion pedal in the mix. Is this my only way of having a brutal distortion while also using fx? Or how can i utilize the gain and everything all at once? This is not a pedal issue. I dont want pedal advice. :) thanks guys!
