Ill say one thing... When you clean up old messes, hold yourself accountable, and live a principled life, things begin to happen. Some will view that as luck. Some will assume that God is favoring you. Some assume its you, just working hard or putting in extra. Some will say that is unfair that you put in extra, because we should all just work the same, live the same, be the same, earn the same, spend the same... Ive had people even ask me if I realized that working multiple jobs was harming those that want to see our society shift to working one job and that being enough. :/ Were not all the same. We dont have the same gifts. We are not all equally talented. We are not all able to do the same tasks with the same proficiency or skill. Ill likely never have Anthony Burgers dexterity or hand motions. My hands are not his hands. But he wont have my testimony. He wont play with my thankfulness. The truth is, its easy to reap, when you have sown. I believe that if you plan the work, then work the plan... you will get your result. If you dont schedule and plan, you will live in chaos and stress. Its easy to relax, when you have completed the work. Its easy to make it look easy, when you have prepared and practiced and prayed. But no one wants to see that. They only see the results, not the work and behind the scenes. They want your results. They dont want your work schedule. I do believe that God can bless people. I think God can bestow favor. I know for a fact that you cannot out-give God. But I know that God rewards obedience. Obedience and putting in the work will negate the need for begging and hoping for a blessing. It will allow you to bless others. God is faithful to His principles and statutes. You put in the work, keep clean, have a decent attitude and things will happen for you. Or not. Complain. Feel entitled. Compare your progress to others. Bail when its tough. Never take responsibility and duck out of accountability. Be the one that always has a negative comment. Be the detractor. See how those work out for you. See how far they get you. Every day is a choice. Sometimes, every moment is a choice. Be the positive one. Be the helpful one. Be the kind one.
