Ill sleep in a minute. So, it has been brought up that I should finish my education. Flawed concept, but Ill come back to that momentarily. I am, however, continuing my college adventure from where I left off starting in January. So, Ive never been one for the traditional method. Im too stubborn (ask anyone), some traditions really shouldve made it through the beta testing, and you generally get more fulfilled trying to do it the awesomely innovative way. Thats probably how pop tarts were invented and Pop tarts are delightful. My education is never ending, my grandpa sorta imparted that in me, as Ive watched him try skateboarding at 77, and ps3 at 79. You keep learning. New information presents itself and you gotta get after it. Life is full of wonderful, prickly little things that are pretty cool. Im not fluent in any language. I can converse in 4, and my ASL is good enough to make jokes with the lady who works at wal-mart, and the mechanic who thinks people look funny trying to yell at him (cant hear you, but I can see your tonsils quite clearly). I can recite a good deal of the US Constitution, a few Irish folks songs (in Gaelic, no less) and will drink you under the table or black out trying. Ive built stuff, fallen hopelessly attracted to someones nose (and the person attached to it) and said all the cheesy things I before my hand could reach my mouth, baked delectables on a whim, helped random tiny humans find their large human caretaker, high fived old ladies, cracked really risky jokes with nurses who were stitching me back up or stealing my blood, and danced in the middle of Home Depot because they were playing all the sweetest hits (to later discover my headphones were still on). I guess what Im saying is, you cannot simply measure the intelligence of an individual by what brand of college they are currently indebted too. If all would take the time to see the minds and souls of each and everyone around them, maybe the crazy shit that keeps coming up in the news wouldnt be a thing. Dancing in retail stores would be, and local rainbows would headline the news. I could say something intelligent (97% of my sentences are, 3% is usually incoherent cursing/rambling/giggling) and not get the obligatory inquiry as to my academic institution. If I must divulge, I am a student of the road less traveled. Blame Robert Frost (google it). Life tastes better when you dont stick to the recipe.
