Ill stipulate that the guy in question is an obnoxious jerkoff...but can someone (preferably a lawyer friend) please explain to me how the University of Denver law professors explanation of an exception to public accommodation laws wouldnt be equally applicable to the infamous baker in New Mexico, who also offered to accommodate her customer to the extent she could? If a baker can refuse to serve a customer when it would force them into a form of speech they find objectionable, how can another not do the same thing when it would force them to participate in a ceremony that violates their expression of religion?? I still think that the public accommodation laws put into place to help combat rampant and systematic racism in the last century was a good idea...but these issues are unintended consequences.
