Illegal Immigration Remains Our Biggest Crisis The press and Americans in general are allowing distractions to take our focus off of what is probably still the most dangerous threat to the American way of life. Events in Ferguson, Mo. first took attention away from the border crisis, and without doubt Ebola is a serious concern, unquestionably ISIS is a threat, but neither of them pose as direct or as dangerous a threat as our porous borders. In fact, both Ebola and ISIS serve to heighten the seriousness of our lack of border security. We have already seen diseases brought into our country over the border, and there have almost certainly been ISIS terrorist infiltrating our nation via Mexico. These are just two of the myriad of problems presented by unsecure borders. While it is necessary to pay attention to other critical situations around the world, it remains imperative that we continue to focus on the absolute necessity of securing our borders. With the multiple problems associated with illegal immigration and unsecured borders, when are we going to get serious about securing the border and stopping the flow of illegals into this country? Our porous borders and illegal immigration remains the biggest threat to our American way of life and prosperity of our country. We cannot afford to allow ourselves to lose sight of that fact. We must elect people who believe in border security and the will to do something about it. We must keep pressure on our Congressmen to take action.
