Illinois State Police say the westbound lanes of I-74 at the 216 mile marker — the Bowman Avenue exit — will be closed until around 9 a.m. due to a truck tractor, semi-trailer crash. The crash has blocked all of westbound lanes at the underpass and damaged the cable wires near the underpass. Traffic will be be detoured off I-74 westbound at Bowman Avenue. Emergency crews are on-scene trying to clear the debris to open the roadway. Please use caution and yield to clean up crews and emergency vehicles.
