***Illinois***UP FOR ADOPTION-THOR (2) ***PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG. IT IS THE MOST REWARDING EXPERIENCE AND YOU WONT REGRET IT.*** This is a letter from Thors Foster Mama- As I made this video, I couldnt help but cry my eyes out. Thor has made such an impact on my life, even in the short amount of time Ive had him. The love I feel for him will never diminish, even when he is no longer in our home anymore, he will always be in our hearts. I will openly admit to the world that fostering has by far been the most rewarding, hardest, and most unselfish thing I have ever done in my life. Throughout this experience, I have had friends and family doubting that I am cut out for fostering or rescuing animals. Ive been told that I am too kind-hearted, compassionate, loving, and empathetic to foster or be a part of a rescue organization....well I am proud to say that I CAN do it and I WILL continue to rescue, foster, and fight for animals. Its not because I am NOT kind-hearted, compassionate, loving, and empathetic...its actually because of these attributes that I am able to do it. Every rescuer Ive ever met, whether theyre a rescuer of animals, people, or the environment, posses these qualities and they have a strength within them like no other. They have to witness heart-wrenching atrocities and yet continue to make a difference, despite the emotional, physical, and mental damage thats inflicted on the rescuer. I now have more role models that I look up to because of the impact they have had on the lives of so many, including the President of Its A Pittie Rescue. I could see myself wanting to keep every animal I foster, but the reality of it all is that it isnt possible. Its not because I dont want to, I know with a certainly that I will always want to. Or because I dont love them enough, because I will always love each animal deeply and with all my heart. Or that my heart wont break into a million pieces, because my heart will always shatter when a foster baby leaves my home or another animal needs rescuing. It is because I was born to rescue and that is what I will always do. I made this movie for his future forever family/home, whomever that may be, so that they can see Thors remarkable journey and to know how blessed they would be to have such an incredible forever dog be part of their family. I also want them to see what it takes to bring out the best in him....patience, love, perseverance, dedication, commitment, and compassion. The family needs to have all these qualities in order to see the dog you see in this video. I love you Thor and you deserve so much. I will always be your foster mama. I know your forever family is out there sweet boy and that you are going to make them very happy. They will take great care of you and they will love you dearly. vimeo/97635460
