Plus considerable opportunity to earn additional over target commission, e.g. circa. £25,000 per annum Job Purpose To sell cross platform advertising to customers, to agreed sales revenue targets. Key Working Relationships Internal: Sales Manager External: Prospects and customers Person Specification • Proven experience and expertise in a similar role: o Previous telesales experience including cross and up-selling methods, pro-active and re-active approaches, questioning techniques and above all excellent communication skills. o Account managing key customers to maintain repeat business o Identifying customer needs; proposing suitable advertising packages o Managing the sales process professionally: Lead generation, effective proposals, successful presentations to prospects and effective order closing o Working in a busy sales office environment • Sales targets oriented • A professional manner • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & email • Excellent communication skills when working with customers and colleagues • A team player. Builds good relationships with customers and colleagues • Good literacy, grammar and numeracy skills • Good organisational and time management skills • The ability to work under pressure • Driving licence • To occasionally work away from the office on a business trip Desirable (not essential): Local to Kenton Previous advertising sales Experience of operating ACT!
