Im Overwhelmed by emotions. Im On the verge of emotional shutdown. Feeling as if there is no future but despair as I remember that 120 day or put it differently 4 months ago I saw and witness the earth swallowing my beloved. Melo and my daughter. All Im left with is a sign by the graveside that their body was rested. Im so fearful of the unknown and have not been myself and only my fear can be lifted to the Comforter, Jesus Christ. For I know People who don’t know Christ have a different perspective when they are overwhelmed because they have no option other than despair. People only have the option of using their own energy or other people around them to try and make this adjustment. Ive seen it in action and have been left hanging as I trusted others and they end up selling me to the highest bidder. I pray that Lord save me from following on those that don’t have the person of God living in them, giving me the capacity to adjust and the sense that there is a future as long as I dont forsake You. Because Lord, I know I do have an options. For I Choose faith in You Lord Jesus Christ and to make it a habit to mentally and verbally give each emotion to You. Lord, the moment that emotion arrives. Lord, I promise to will always wrap up any emotion in a package and handing it into Your loving, powerful arms to keep and trust in You Lord to take those burdens each time. Therefore, Lord I know now that I can take this action because You cares for me. As said in First Peter 5:7, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” I know Lord that I must be strong and remain resolute and believe in You as said in Second Chronicles 15:7, “As for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” Lord, all those thoughts and emotions that constantly tormented me I gave them to You. Take them from me, and I will trust in You for strength and healing. Amen.
