Im Paola and Im offering private and small group language classes in Santiago. All levels catered for. Fun guaranteed! Classes can be taken at a location of your choice e.g. your home, office or a local coffee shop. The cost per class is CLP 15.000. If you buy a block of 10 classes, the cost is CLP 12.000 (CLP 120.000 for the block). The classes are 1 hour long and private (i.e. one to one) If you have a friend or colleague, (they must be at the same Spanish level as you) who wishes to join you then a discount is available. The maximum class size is 3 (excluding the teacher). In our experience, classes larger than this do not offer each student sufficient time to practice speaking. On the first day, (if you decide to take classes with Spanish Class) we will ask you to take an evaluation of your level. This takes around half an hour and there is no charge for this (although you will be required to pay for at least the following class). Once your level has been determined, you will receive a folder with materials relevant to your level. After each block of 10 classes, we will ask you to complete another evaluation so we can track your progress. All the teaching materials are provided and written specifically for Spanish Class. A textbook is therefore not followed. However a number of useful textbooks are available for reference. If you would like a list of these, please let us know. If you have a specific textbook, which you wish to use then this is also an option. If you have any specific requirements, classes can be tailored to your needs (e.g. you may require classes with a strong emphasis on Business Spanish) After each class, we will ask you to complete exercises to reinforce what you have learnt in class. The homework for each class normally takes around half an hour and is very important. Classes are 100% in Spanish as this is the quickest way to build your confidence with the language (even for beginners) If you require an explanation of anything in English there is reference materials at hand. The Spanish taught is Castilian Spanish (Spanish from central Spain) allowing students to understand and be understood in any part of the Spanish speaking world. Standard class hours are 9am until 8pm. However if you require classes earlier or later, within limits, this can be arranged.
