Im SORRY!! Last night I went out to a dance with friends.. was having fun, laughs all around, stories from the past.. had a bunch of drinks like a lot .. its been so long since I had so much drinks, like years... maybe like 8 beer, no maybe more, bunch of shooters. The dumb thing is I had no one to drive for me, wanted to maybe call a cab but didnt want to leave my car..i figured screw it I felt ok to drive..kinda sobered up I guess towards the end of the night. On my way home was kinda dark so I drove slower then usual, and then brother text asked where I was, of course I better text him back..i was starting to get tired, better open the window, then another text come in, better pull over no its ok its late no one on the road this late, text him back... I looked up and BOOM!! I hit the side of a Vehicle pulled to the side of the road..i didnt even see the hazards on, I pulled over to see the damage on my car. I looked closer..and noticed red, like lots..it was blood... I looked back and there was a older man laying on the ground, gasping for his next breath..i totally freaked!!, he must of been changing his tire... I held his hand, I had tears rolling down my cheek., Im sorry!! Iim so sorry!!.. I grabbed my phone called 911.., the man grab my hand, pulled me close, couldnt understand what he was saying.. he pulled me closer, and said my kids..i looked up and there were 2 girls sitting in the back, the same age as my daughters, crying... I told them he will be ok, they were yelling DADDY!! my heart dropped, I held his hand as he took his last breath, Im thinking of my girls, my wife, my family, my future..what have I done!!!....... could you imagine if this really happened?, think about who would all be effected by this decision made.. there have been so many good people that have made the bad decision to get behind the wheel after one of them nights, be smart my friends, think before you make a decision that can have a permanent outcome!! Have a good night!! Be safe!, be responsible!, and make sure everyone gets home to their families tonight!! Totally not worth the trouble!!, plan a safe ride home!!
