Im Tired By: Sol If you are going through a struggle, this is for you. Lets cry together... My son watches as the sun Beats down on my head while working Hes my heart... And the naked truth is I have to bare the pain Of seeing nothing On his feet sometimes He looks up to me Even when Im down Which is most of the time... They say theres a time for everything But it seems like time keeps skipping Me on blessings if I had to keep record My wife left me when I started to go In the right direction Which leaves me with a baby boy To fall in my lap every night to sleep Shes with a man with a huge house now So I guess us being apart was Ment to be Small word considering he was my Best friend... The apartment flooded yesterday So I was knee deep in water And waist deep in bills Up to my neck in stress And drowning in tears I cant take anymore Lord, I need you... I dont know which is heavier My heart... Or my burdens I need you to carry me like I carry my son to his room every night Assure me everything will be alright Please, just come see about me Im not asking for a miracle Im just asking for some relief This pressure is too great for me Im at a point of no return Im fading My hair is turning gray I cant seem to cut the mustard anywhere I plant my seed here in faith and hopes Of a brighter day ahead Let the sun shine on my son Ill take the rain Lord, all Im asking...
