Im a bit confused and asking for some help. I have been doing some reading in Delaware. It appears there is some confusion as to what Stout went to Delaware. I have seen three and am curious as to which one is the ancestor of Peter the Quaker Stout. I show a John Stout purchase property about 1708 thus this John would be to old to be Peter Stouts son John (?) yes or no. Second, I have Benjamin Stout - who some record shows he came in from Philadelphia after 1708 and purchased land near John Stout. Then I have another person that says they are both wrong and it was a Joseph son of one of the John Stouts. So who does Peter the Quaker belong with - one is buried in a Presbyterian Church and seemed to be around Welsh people on Welsh Tract. Was John the son of Peter or the son of Richard, Sr.? There appears to be two different John Stouts identified as the one in Delaware.
