Im a complete dummy when it comes to mechanics. But I still use google and youtube in an attempt to self-diagnosis the growing list of issues with my jeep. Today out of frustration and hanger, I crawled under it and took pics to try and find the culprit of the clunk. Since idk what Im looking at, I basically look at each side and think whats diff in each picture? And alas, I found something. It might not be a big deal. But the side that looks bad, is also very rusty and the good side isnt. The bad side looks like its maybe missing a cap? The third pic is of bad side after I cleaned gunk off. Please help me at least identify the part so I can continue my google research method.
