Im a door closer. When I leave a room, I shut a door. Its a habit formed about eight years ago when we acquired an indoor dog. I learned if I didnt close the doors of carpeted rooms, little surprises were sure to follow. Things enter open rooms and leave unwanted items. Are you a door closer? Its hard to do sometimes, especially on something or someone we love. But guess what? You can carry whatever you choose out of the room before closing the door. Grab the memories. Throw over your shoulder the feeling of an early love. Haul out the knowledge you did your absolute best. Then close the door. If not then regret, failure, and negativity will sneak in when youre out of the house, waiting for your return. If they continue to meet a closed door, theyll save their surprises for someone else. ~ Happy happy Friday! Well be scrambling this weekend for sure, but please, everyone, drive safely.
