Im a heroin addict. Like many other heroin addicts I got started with light pain killers. About 7 years ago I started taking small doses of Lortab (hydrocodone) because it made everything about my job better. Well it didnt take long for me to switch to a much much more powerful pain killer, oxycodone. Specifically the the 30mg ones. They were an extremely popular drug in my area and a huge number of people got hooked on them, myself included. Ill never forget the first time I felt withdrawals. My whole body was sore, I was completely exhausted but I couldnt sleep because I had really bad restless legs. I just wanted to feel better and relief was just a phone call away. Over the next several years my addiction grew. I changed. I turned into a liar and thief. I sold almost everything I own. I stole from my mom, dad, brother, girlfriend, pretty much everyone in my family. When I ran out of things to sell I started selling my girlfriends things, my daughters toys, my mothers jewelry. I sold my girlfriends Nintendo DS, went and got high, then I came home and helped her look for it for like 2 hours. I maxed out several credit cards. I stole quite a bit of money from my job and eventually got fired. And I lied, lied, lied and lied.
