Im a huge fan of repeating things to death. A thousand times. 10,000 times. We nested up to this drill over the course of 20 min. Building this drill one step at a time CST style ; punches, outside 90 360 defense, front knees . Double punches, block punch in a 2 count format as pictured, block with simultaneous punch as counter attack, then add the knee... All that was built a step at a time up to this. Now Im adding in various low stress inputs (pushes, low intensity head control, body control, etc). Her job remains the same, Recover from the input, block the incoming low intensity slap, counter attack, deliver the knee. Over time the intensity will be raised. The punch will begin being directed at the face, and the block and punch will happen on the same beat. After that, add in a second punch, then a second knee, then a control and movement away.
