Im a legit musical theatre soprano who is more of an actress than a singer. I love the marriage of my two crafts...yet there are few roles the suit me and my strengths to an absolute T. Tomorrow night and Sunday, I get to play a dream role in one of the most beautiful theatres Ive ever been in, in a gorgeous production. It is surreal. I have been thru a lot in my life and there were many times where this didnt seem like it could be a reality. We keep keeping on and working and sometimes all the stars align. I am so grateful to those who have made and are making the trek up to see this. Ironically, with my strong family ties to this show, neither of my parents are coming..so it means a ton to have my wonderful and supportive friends coming up here. I have learned a lot from Magnolia. She is not a typical ingenue. She is more so at first and then has to fight for she (and her childs) life. I respect her journey and I cant wait to share it with 1200 people tomorrow night. And another 1200 on Sunday. Theatre is all Ive really ever wanted to do. And this is an absolute dream come true.
