Im a little embarrassed to ask, but, Im only one person and I cant continue to do it all nearly by myself...and for 10 weeks, I have been subsidizing this (along with the help of a few very kind and wonderful friends)....SOOOOO, HERE GOES (gulp)...For folks who care to help out, Bella is my grand baby..shes the caboose of my little brood....and shes a pretty sick little girl...born with End Stage Renal Disease, she is one tough little cookie! Shes been in and out of the woods several times, so far, and has proven her little self to be quite the tiny miracle baby! But, the travel costs to doctors, alone, have grown astronomically high for Bellas mommy and daddy...and many meds are not covered by insurance. It seems there is not one facility in the state of Mississippi specialized to treat her very rare condition (Bella is one in six million)..so, they have been back and forth to Tulane and Ochsners in New Orleans daily since little bit came into this world in January...now, they have great hope in a hospital in Houston, Childrens Hospital to be exact, that is well-equipped to help her along until she can get a transplant (she weighs 8.5 now but has to weigh 22 pounds for a new kidney)...Please keep us in your prayers...and, please, visit the site and give what you can, if you can, okay?
