Im a member of a FB group called Olympia Milk Bar Fan Club. Its a decrepit old milk bar on Parramatta Rd, Stanmore, untouched for many years and run by an elderly Greek gentleman called Mr Fotiou. He sits in his dark shop with the lights off, surrounded by original old posters and fixtures, and I swear the chocolates in their display boxes look like theyve been there since the 60s. Anyway, one of the members of that FB group is Joshua Brogan and he made a short video about the Olympia Milk Bar for a uni project. Some members here may find this video of one of our vanishing urban treasures interesting.
