Im a rather big fan of Daniel Quinns writings. When we talk about food and the environment, were really talking about our culture and the values assigned to both what and how we eat as well as the natural world around us and our place in it. And I dont think many folks would disagree that, culturally, how we view both food and the natural world has gotten pretty screwed up. Quinns works examine the cultural history that got us here, and the alternatives approaches that existed prior to our current culture (or parallel) that weve forgotten. Definitely food for thought for the curious Enjoy :)
