Im a snake killer.... Anyone who knows me knows I HATE snakes; no such thing as a good one. Even though Im a country girl, I hate critters in general...ie lizards (prehistoric mini dinosaurs) frogs, bugs...YUCK! Anyway, last summer I saw the biggest snake in my life in Jons garage. I am not kidding. Jon didnt believe me UNTIL he saw it. He said it was an over 7 ft rat snake and wouldnt kill it. Well IT must have been a girl and she must have found a husband.... I saw the snake that was by my herbs twice a couple of weeks ago. Jon said its probably said momma snakes baby. (4-5 feet skinny baby) For my own sanity Im saying it was the same snake I saw twice and not his twin. Well, fast forward to Wednesday of this week. Jons coming home after three long weeks. Im washing new sheets to put on bed and dryer breaks. I sent Jon message at 5 to be prepared to a. repair dryer or b. buy a new one. I told him it made a clunking noise and died. He said he could probably fix. When he got home with weeks of laundry, Im having Katrina flashbacks and strongly urge (note those gentle words, women!!! LOL Men really know what that means) to look at the dryer so I can wash clothes. Well, i help him remove all the clutter from top of the dryer and go about my business. He pulls it out and turns it over. He said, ok, its fixed. Huh? It took him 2 seconds. I walked in and he said, I see what caused the problem. OMG that snake was IN the dryer vent! DEAD! I thought Id have a heart attack. Of course him and Bella torture me with it before disposing! Well, he plugs it in and its back in commission. Can you believe that? I am now on my way to lowes to get something to keep snakes out of my dryer!
