Im a strong Advocate and supporter of Christian Hip Hop music, but as of the last 6 months, it seems like the majority of the Christian Rappers music sounds exactly the same as the current Secular Hip Hop music out right now! Can I please encourage all CHH Rappers who read this to get back to the drawing board and create your music from an original creative standpoint? Is that too much to ask? Stop listening to to much Secular Hip Hop and re-mimicking what Secular XYZ Artist did in his or her music. It makes me wonder, who is CHHs daddy...The Hip Hop Culture, The Industry or Jesus? P.S.: And please add some more substance back in your lyrics! Many of your songs are sounding so worldly, I end up praying to hear at least the word Jesus or Scripture in the song! This new CHH is making me re dig back in the crates for older content that had more substance.
