Im a wimp (not the word I wanted to use but it works). I decide to swap out the metal Ness grips for a set of Avon heated grips. Nice touch if you dont mind departing from the Ness touch. They are 5 step heated. Unlike the stock Victory ones that on low seems too low and high turns your fingers into sausages (my wife has a stock XCT so I know first hand) these have a nice 5 setting with LED indication. Avon wont help the Vision market (they say none of theirs will work on a Vision) so Witchdoctors stepped up. They take the Avons useless handlebar controller for the Avon grips and machine it down so we can mount the controller to a flat surface, like the center console. Jon at Witchdoctors has a YouTube video on how to install these on a Vision. Since I (Ness bikes) dont have factory heated grips its a little less work than for those other Visions. It was his video that really got me thinking about this. Since it was Bills bike Jon installed the grips on I got ahold of Bill and chatted a bit. He sealed the deal so there you go. I havent gotten the machined controller yet but I got the grips installed. A big comfy difference over my metal Ness grips. Cant wait to add the heat!!
