Im a youth worker... I do a lot of sleep over night shifts. Sometimes these sap the life out of me and I had a particularly hard one the other night... Thank god Ivan (and my big lump of a tb southern) are just down the road for an instant cheer up. Ivan lets me lean on him and drape my arms round his neck without protesting. He stands still and lets me rest my head against his and breath in his sweet breath. He still follows me round when I have told him off. He is my little lump of peace when the noise of everyday drama is too loud. Thank you again to the currys for my little piece of sanity and my lovely partner in crime tony for making it all happen!
