Im absolutely intrigued by the posts on here as I also had a bad experience at Safecobs.... It was about 18 months/ 2 years ago. I also remember lovely Phoebe.... I didnt report or say anything at the time because I think I was ashamed of myself for being taken in. Ive had a horse all my life and I guess I trusted that Lia would sell a middle aged woman something safe! Well, I was glad to get him away from such a nasty place to start with. I rode him there as planned and she lunged him first. She told me to make sure I held his head up after mounting (so I should have known really! ) Needless to say he did a fantastic and spectacular bucking bronco in canter from a halt when I first mounted him after his week of settling in! I fell off and lost my confidence big time.When I rang her she was nasty, shouted at me, called me incompetent and said it was all my fault. I was devastated. She refused to give me my money back of course as I was to blame apparently. I sold him for a pittance to a dealer that funnily enough already knew him! Hard lesson learned đŸ˜”
