Im acting like a total stalker. Edward Hailstone from #LifebelowZero just friended my husband on Facebook. And of course I sent him a friend request because we are both in awe. And now Im jealous... Some background: Ive been obsessed with Life Below Zero on Nat Geo for months. Its about 4-5 families/individuals that live in different parts of Alaska. Edward is called Chip and he is a hunter with his wife who is a native Eskimo and totally kick ass. They have about 7 kids. My husband has been mimicking Chip all week in the house. But hes been pretending to be Chip in Simi Valley talking about how you take your life in your hands when you battle California soccer moms at the grocery store, how odd it is that we get our meat in these weird packages, and random things he fixes around the house. Ive essentially been living with Chip and its been hysterical. Chip is also very outspoken about how he feels about the food supply. He keeps reminding us on the show that his food is caught by him so he doesnt have to worry about things like GMOs when hes feeding his family. Ive been friends with lots of celebrities and have had an opportunity to work with them by nature of my profession. BUT SERIOUSLY Im awestruck by this show and the people in it. Dont change CHIP!!!!
