Im actually a bit annoyed by some of the Moffatt hate. I understand that the man is a frustrating writer and that many, including me, can dislike the way he runs Doctor Who, but to accuse the man of ignoring anything from Doctor Who pre-2005 is ridiculous. Moffatt has included a good amount of past villains from pre-2005, a few of which were the first time seen since the original series aired! The Great Intelligence The Ice Warriors Cybermats Silurians The Zygons (who are appearing in the 50th Anniversary Special) Not only that but he has dedicated a fair amount of time to The Daleks, Cybermen, and has always jumped at the chance to show images/mannerisms of the past Doctors in the show. Do I like the way he slowly rolls out episodes? Nope. But can I accuse him of not loving and respecting the series as a whole? Hell no.
