Im actually a very sad man this morning, i have gone through the internet to get some informations about the immigration examinations or maybe a death trap for the un employed youths in my country(Nigeria) yestarday which my own very biological elder sister is an applicant. We were told that there are only 4000 vacant posts but yestarday there were almost a million applicants all around the federations......what is their odds? Reported deaths of some applicants from Abuja and benin due to a stampede or maybe carelesness of the organizers; but then while others were blaming the government, comptroller general of immigration and even the minister of interior none could atleast suggest a better advise. It is high time Nigeria learn how to do things in 21st century using 21st century method(s)....puter base. Rather than exposing those applicants to such dangers whereas they (organizers) knew that only about 0.25% of the whole applicants actually have the chance of securing the job. NIS actually uses the exercise to make money from the desperate,frustrated and growing numbers of unemployed Nigerians. If 6-700 thousands applicants applied and each were asked to pay #1000 each, how much will that add to NIS pocket including the #1m granted them by the house of representatives to conduct the exercise which we knew its just a mere formalities when actually each states including the FCT have a slot of 200 candidates candidates, such slots which must have been shared among the politicians to give to their own blessed candidates......what is our hope? I have said this several times that this country is walking on an egg shell in a dry season and very soon the shell is going to crack! Just very soon.
