Im afraid I cant wait for the official photos to be posted by the RSLWA so bare with me! I had a picture button made a few months ago as a centre for one of my poppies (as part of the 5000 Poppies Project). This poppy went to Albany (along with many many more). Yesterday the RSL called me to say they had made a special effort to retrieve it from Albany and wanted to ask me for permission to present it to a dignity. All very mysterious at that point but of course I agreed because I trust their judgement! I have just been informed the presentation took place this afternoon and my Jim Holland poppy is heading home with Prince Edward! Can the story get any better?? Official presentation photos later I hope!
