Im afraid that we have some bad news regarding one of the bands on the Guernsey leg of Metal2TheMasses. The event will still be going ahead as planned, although unfortunately Darker Shores have been forced to withdraw from the competition. They have written a statement that they would like to share with you. It is with sadness that we have to withdraw from the Metal 2 the Masses event. Our singer, Mark Le Page, collapsed last Tuesday and has had an extended stay in hospital (and has given us all quite a scare). Thankfully he is on the road to recovery! Its not our practice to pull out of gigs for no reason, and this is the most serious reason of all. I hope youll all join us in wishing Mark and his family all the best for his recovery, and well hopefully see you on stage sooner rather than later. Thanks for your understanding Darker Shores Please all send your best wishes to Mark and his family and his bandmates. We hope he gets well soon. All the best from the CIMS Team.
