Im after advice plz no nasty comments. I got my daughters horse from doggers about a month later she got a bad case of lymphangitis I got vet out that day he put an IV in her neck so she was getting antibiotics through that plus penicillin injections twice a day she is now on oral twice a day for 8 weeks plus brut once a day... The vet did say shed lose more weight due to fighting such a nasty infection and it didnt help that I got her so skinny. I give her hay twice a day and I make sure she has enough hay that when I go back she still has hay left and I give her a mix of pellets and mix charf twice aday and ive wormed her every few weeks like vet said. What im asking is what can I do/give to help put on weight. she is a tb not sure when she came off track. Ive done all the stuff the vet has said but she is now not gaining no weight at all and I dont want to put her down as she is such a beautiful loving girl.
