Im all for eating meat, and animal cruelty etc is not really something that affects me on a daily basis, but Im currently sat watching Louis Therouxs documentary on hunting. These people pay hundreds of £s to shoot wild animals in captivity (a contradiction in itself), and Im finding it extremely uncomfortable. These people are generally over-weight, middle-aged males, and often sport a moustache to accompany their hunting get-ups. They claim the thrill of killing an animal is unparalleled and it gives them a great sense of achievement and an alpha male sensation once they have their trophy... As if to say they are better, or stronger than the animal. All I can think is how far they are from their sense of achievement and they are in fact cowards. Shooting animals such as zebras, lions and even rhinos that are essentially put on a plate for these people. Get a grip. Im not some belter who feels the need to preach about stuff thatll get likes, but I didnt realise how strongly Id feel about this and felt the need to share it! What a bunch of complete tossers ✊💦
