Im always a bit taken aback when someone declares something like Id love to be fitter/thinner/etc but I just love food SO much. My brain explodes when people say this because, well, if you love food and you want to eat more of it...exercise! The thing is, I eat a lot! Why? I need lots of fuel. Why? Because Im really active. And because Im so active I can get away with more junk (if I chose to) than someone who isnt because my insulin tolerance is much higher from being a habitual exerciser and I burn more calories all the time thanks to a higher level of muscle mass. I need about 1800 calories a day if I want to maintain my weight. I ate 2988 calories on Sunday but because I burned 1322 calories, my body only kept 1666 calories...so even though I ate lots of food, I would lose weight if I did that every day...because of exercise. Thoughts?
