Im always amazed at the strength of the people I come across on Facebook that are willing to share their stories of fear. Of pain and immeasurable loss. Uncertainty, vulnerability and doubt. Yet they have the strength to reach out to us, the known and unknown audience, and ask for our prayers, our advice, even forgiveness. Today,I was sinking in a pool of self pity, which slides straight into an ocean of self loathing because Im struggling with personal relationships and an abysmal financial situation. Then, my good friend posted a video of a big strong handsome man tearfully showing us the grave of his wife and 6 year old daughter, in the hope that just one addicted soul would see what becomes truth when the substance takes over. Shame at my foolish self pity washed over me, and prayers for forgiveness, prayers for solace for a man I never met were pouring from my heart and my eyes. God be with this stranger , God be with all who can read this. You are my family.Thank you for being there for me, even when I was too blind to see.♥
